Cigarette
I became hooked to cigarettes at the age of 14 and I lived as an addict for the next 20 years or so. I managed to quit smoking several times and in one period I gave up smoking for two years. Unfortunately I went into relapse pretty easily and that pretty much sums up my past addiction. I know how much there is to lose as a smoker and I want to help people free themselves from this terrible addiction.
Like most things in life, there isn’t a one stop solution to nicotine addiction. For most smokers giving up smoking will be a challenge and a few will be tested close to their limit. But if you can commit, the rewards are invaluable. When you successfully give up smoking, the changes you’ll see in body, mind, and even socially will be amazing to say the least.
From useful quit smoking tips to my own journey in smoking cessation, you will find information that are very general to stories that are very personal to me. Having lived as a smoker for nearly 20 years, naturally I have quite a number of friends who are and some who were smokers. Unfortunately I also happen to have some family members who are smokers as well. I will have these friends and family members as guest writers and they will share their own stories to hopefully motivate you and to support you through your own journey. Why the smokers as guest writers you ask? Well, some desperately want to quit smoking but they just don’t try hard enough. For some of these people nicotine addiction was very costly in many sense of the word and they’ll share with you what they’ve lost as a result of their addiction.
